Cookie Sheet Advent Calendars

This looks like a fun way for the kids to count the days until Christmas.

Since these cookie sheets are not magnetic, I assume the white grid must be. Any ideas what it may be made of? Sheet metal painted white?

Since the cute magnets all look like they are made of things you get at Robert's, maybe they have magnetic sheets there too. I'll check it out.

That looks totally cute. I'd love to make one. Any other insight on the "How-to" would be awesome. Of course, I don't have Robert's in Korea, but I am learning to be very resourceful! If anyone makes one, they should post their finished product.

These DO look like a fun activity to make. I have some magnetic spray paint I intend to use on a little pre-school table. -It'd work on this idea, too.

I love this idea! I really want to make one, too. Mom, are you doing them for Super Saturday?

Instead of using an aluminum cookie sheet and trying to make it magnetic, I got a framed piece of sheet metal at Robert's. Finding the trinkets to use on magnets has been much more difficult. We aren't doing it for Super Saturday -- we don't have a SS -- and it is too complicated to do for HFPE. I'll post whatever I come up with.
